TV Installation

After setting up your TV on its stand or cabinet, your technician will connect your smart TV to the internet, Wi-Fi and video components, as well as your existing streaming services. Once set-up is complete, the installer will quickly demonstrate your new TV’s main features and give you a folder outlining the set-up. Before leaving they’ll clean up and remove all packaging, ensuring cables are tidied away.

Your tech2 technician will take care of your TV installation, including:

Attaching your TV to the included stand and positioning

Tidying/concealing cables

Connecting the TV to the existing power and WiFi as well as your devices

Demonstrating your TV's key features

Giving you a reference folder outlining your TV set up and device connectivity

Once your technician has wall-mounted your TV, they'll tune and connect it to WiFi, your other devices, and existing streaming services. They'll also give you a rundown of your TV's key features plus a reference folder which details the set-up and connectivity. A"er completing set-up, tech2 will conceal the cables and even take the packaging with them. Too easy? Too right!

Soundbar Installation

Take a load off while your tech2 tradesman installs your soundbar, connects it to your WiFi network (or Bluetooth) and your compatible streaming services — and, where available, sets up multiple entertainment zones. They’ll talk you through your soundbar's top features and leave you with a reference folder with the details of your connectivity and set-up. Before leaving, they'll tidy the cables and remove all packaging.

Your tech2 professional will set-up and connect your soundbar, including

Set-up and connecting it to WiFi and your compatible streaming accounts

Neatly arranging cables

Demonstrating your soundbar's core features and, where relevant, smart app

Giving you a reference folder that outlines your soundbar set up

Cleaning up and removing packaging


Terms and Conditions:

1. Does not include mounting of speakers, supply of speaker cables or any other AV equipment
2. Same room only. Cables, brackets, speaker mounts and speaker wires to be provided by customer or purchased from tech2.
3. Accessible cavity required for concealed cable runs. Maximum concealment runs apply; Wall Mounted TV (2m), Projector/GPO (10m), Antenna Cabling (20m), Surface Ducting (supplied by tech2 up to 2m) may be utilised if there is no accessible cavity. Additional charge may apply for dwellings over 1 storey.
4. Power connected to existing AC power outlet by surface mounting only.
5. Technician will require username, password & encryption key for existing home network, including ISP login details. Waiting charges ($149ex/hr) apply
6. Consumer grade device only (excludes VOIP or illegally modified devices). Mac & Windows only for computer based set ups.

Optimised Home Theatre Installation

While you prepare the choc tops and snacks, tech2 will install your home cinema and connect it to your TV and existing AV devices. They'll also tune your radio and pre-set the channels, as required. Your technician will talk you through the key features of your theatre system and give you a folder comprising the details of set-up and connectivity — they'll even take the packaging with them when they leave.

Your tech2 technician will take care of your home theatre set-up and connection, including:

Connecting your home theatre system to the TV and AV devices

Tuning the radio and pre-setting the channels

Demonstrating the core features of your new system

Giving you a folder that outlines your set up and connectivity

Removing packaging

For wireless systems, tech2 will also:

Pair and set up speakers to Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth

Download the system's native app

Establish separate sound rooms/zones

Connect to your existing streaming services

Set up wireless bridge, if required (not included)

Demonstrating your system’s features and, where relevant, smart app including how to create playlists in each zone, and how to add a new zone

Wireless Speaker Installation

While you compile the ultimate playlist, tech2 will connect your speakers to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and download the native speaker app. As long as they're compatible, they,ll also connect your speakers to existing streaming services and create different sounds zones. If you have a wireless bridge, they'll set that up for you, tool Once installation is complete, they'll demonstrate the main features of your speakers, including how to manage different zones using the app, and remove all packaging.

A tech2 trade professional will install your wireless speaker set-up, including:

Pairing and se&ng up speakers to Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth (up to 4 speakers)

Downloading the speaker’s native app

Configuring separate sound rooms/zones

Connectng to your existng streaming services

Setting up wireless bridge, if required (not included)

Demonstrate features of new speakers and how to use the native app including how to create playlists in each zone, and how to add a new zone

Removing packaging
